Because They Waited focuses on the needs of children who are mildly or moderately affected by their beginnings in life.  Follows information about potential problems with real-life, practical solutions. Designed specifically for families adopting older infants or children. Provides a 10 hour educational experience that is compatible with the new Hague regulations. Allows families to participate at their own convenience and at their own pace.  Presenters Julie Drew and Katie Prigel Sharp have backgrounds in education and social work, and are seasoned adoptive mothers.  This program is engaging, enlightening, pertinent, and immediately useful to their everyday parenting experience.
